Snake Hiding In The Canoe
Sometimes you never know what you might capture with your camera. Look what I found hiding in the canoe. Perhaps he just wanted to go for a canoe ride.

Snakes and Snails ...

Remember the Mother Goose nursery rhyme Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails...
That's what little boys are made of !" ( my own version being snakes and snails ) ? That particular rhyme always left me wondering if that meant I was not a nice little girl... because snakes, snails, and the like would hold a fascination for me. Looking back now I realize that it is just as important for little girls, and all children really, to learn about their natural environment, and nature, ( even the "creepy" creatures ), so that they may gain knowledge about wildlife and their surroundings.
